Bunning has extended its range of Lowlander Mk4 Compact machines with two models to complement the proven 105C TVA. The 12-tonne, 14.6m3 120C TVA and 15-tonne, 16m3 150C TVA are said to offer increased capacities and robust builds while maintaining a compact design.
The company states that manoeuvrability has not been sacrificed to achieve increased capacity and output. Incremental extensions of 0.5m to the body length, mean that the 120C TVA and 150C TVA are 4.7m and 5.2m respectively, meaning that operators do not have to purchase a significantly larger spreader to increase output.
Each model has been built using the familiar Lowlander Mk4 blueprint. The 120C comes with a 150mm square axle, equipped with 406×120 brakes. The braking system is uprated to 406×140 on the 150C, which also benefits from an upgraded floor drive gearbox to meet the demands of high output operators.
Full-width floor slats minimise the risk of bridging and drive the product towards the twin 695mm diameter vertical beaters, providing a possible spread width of 16m. As an option, 865mm diameter beaters can be equipped for longer working life. Both variations utilise Boron steel throughout the construction. A hydraulic slurry door or canopy can be equipped to offer greater versatility when spreading wet or fine product.
Completing the package is the 580/70 R38 tyres, fitted as standard to keep machine width below 2,820mm. For extra flotation, the machine can be shod with 650/65 R38 units, keeping the width below 3,000mm. A three-year warranty is included in the purchase price, according to terms and conditions.
