McConnel has introduced new 72-Series and 77-Series Power Arms to its hedgetrimmer range.
The 72-Series features a 70hp hydraulics system, while the heavier duty 77-Series has an uprated 85hp system on the options list. Both are available with reach options from 5.5m up to 7m, including telescopic and variable forward reach (VFR) options.
An integrated debris blower is available as an option across both ranges, while new features across the board include LED road lighting, a newly designed hydraulic tank, a two-piece rear guard for improved service access and a sculpted polypropylene top cover which prevents debris and moisture ingress.
Three proportional electric control packages are offered; Motion control, Evolution control and the flagship Revolution system, which can be paired with the Easy Drive System for hands-free verge mowing.
All models can be specified with three-point or four-point hitches, as well as five-point axle mounting, and are suitable for tractors with at least 80hp and a 4,000kg capacity linkage.
Models are compatible with a range of attachments, including 1.2m, 1.5m, and 1.6m flailheads, sawheads, rotary heads, and cutterbars.
