Founded in 1959, Surrey Wildlife Trust manages over 6,000 hectares of land reserves. These are vital sanctuaries for a diverse range of species and play a crucial role in protecting local wildlife.

As Silver corporate member, Tozer will provide essential funding and support for the Trust’s conservation projects, helping to ensure that local wildlife and habitats are protected for future generations.

As a historic Surrey business, producing high-quality vegetable seeds from its Cobham base since 1944, Tozer has been committed to sustainability for decades.

Those core values are reflected in its production methods, which prioritise environmentally friendly practices. With this Silver partnership, Tozer will contribute to several key initiatives aimed at enhancing the local environment:

  1. Restoring River and Wetland Health: Healthy rivers and wetlands are vital for maintaining ecological balance and supporting a wide variety of species.
  2. Caring for Heathland Habitats: Surrey’s heathlands are unique ecosystems that support many rare species.
  3. Protecting Threatened Species: Species like the hazel dormouse are under threat due to habitat loss and other environmental pressures.
  4. Inspiring the Next Generation: Education and awareness are key to long-term conservation success.
  5. Giving Surrey’s Wildlife a Voice: Advocacy and awareness campaigns are crucial for driving policy changes and community support for wildlife protection.
