Following last year’s announcement that the Burel Group would merge the product lines of Prolog, Sulky and Sky into Sky Agriculture, the company will now offer its product range directly to UK customers.
This move aligns with the successful distribution model already in France, Poland, and Germany.
Mark Whalley, Sky Agriculture UK team leader & territory sales manager, commented: “We aspire to make the United Kingdom the Burel Group’s number one export market. We plan to merge the existing Opico Sky dealers with our existing network to ensure we continue to offer top tier support to both dealers and farmers.”
Opico, the previous importer and distributor for the Sky Easydrill range will continue to provide parts until the end of November.
In the same month, Sky Agriculture will hold three agronomy workshops in Taunton, Banbury and Wakefield to cover soil health, cover crops and agronomy.
The UK team for Sky Agriculture will consist of Mark Whalley, who covers the north, and Mark Dolby, who looks after the south. Richard German will provide technical backup.
