New Alpego power harrow on view at Lamma

Opico will use Lamma to showcase Alpego’s new DMAX 800 power harrow.

It features an additional rotor, giving the power harrow a market leading full working width of 803cm. The central join of the two power harrow beds is now offset to that of the two rear rollers, this greatly reduces the ridge of soil that is left compared to when the join in the beds and rear rollers align. The newly updated side plates with wearproof skids also create optimal soil flow towards and under the rear rollers.

Like all top-of-the-range Alpego power harrows, the DMAX 800 features Twin Force MAX rotors which utilise twin, wide-spaced taper roller bearings to strengthen the driveline and guarantee excellent reliability when used with high-power tractors up to 500hp.

Another key feature of the DMAX 800 is the AI-GUARD which provides in cab monitoring of the driveline as well as alerting the operator to upcoming service intervals.

The company will be displaying much of the Alpego range at the event.  “We have already seen a great interest in the Alpego products and anticipate a good reaction from farmers and dealers alike.  The event will allow customers to get up close to the machinery and see the build quality,” says commercial director Robbie
