Agricultural parts supplier Kramp is hosting an open day for farmers at its UK logistics centre in Biggleswade on November 6th. Visitors will get a behind-the-scenes look at how all types of agricultural equipment are delivered by the next day.
With 150,000 square feet, the Kramp site has space to stock up to 80,000 products. The site is divided into three sections. During a typical week, 9,000 boxes are shipped, involving picking 20,500 lines.
“We’re delighted to be opening our doors to visitors again this November,” says Lexi Gilders, marketing manager for Kramp UK. “We want to build on a fantastic event last year, which had excellent feedback from those who visited.”
“Returning to the open day for another year are Tom Pemberton and Charlotte Ashley, who many farmers will recognise from social media. They will meet and greet visitors, sharing their knowledge and experiences.”
As well as the warehouse tour, 27 of Kramp’s suppliers will be exhibiting. This includes Kärcher, Knipex, Hella, and Rossi Boots. Their experts will be available to discuss their products and answer visitors’ questions.
The open day on the 6th of November is open to all eligible farmers, who can register their interest by visiting the Kramp website.
