Kuhn Farm Machinery has added wider models to its Prolander cultivator range to suit customers requiring more output.
The 9000, 12000 and 14000 offer working widths of 9.2m, 12.2m and 14.2m respectively, and are designed to suit farms working with controlled traffic systems.
Edd Fanshawe, arable and connected services product specialist, says the new models allow larger growers to benefit from the stubble cultivator. “The Prolander has grown in popularity over recent seasons due to its versatility and ease of use. The wider models increase the appeal for growers requiring a tine cultivator capable of a wide range of operations and with a modest power requirement of 25-35hp/m.”
Each model can work at depths between 30mm and 120mm and a new S-tooth tine has been introduced to provide a more complete mix of surface material. Existing tine options remain available, including the S-tine and the goosefoot. Double U and Double Tube rollers are available to suit.
Additionally, the five smaller models, ranging from 4m up to 7.5m, are now available with the SH 600 seeder box to sow cover crops and small seeds. For the new, larger machines, it is possible to combine them with variable front tank options.
