Lemken is to revamp its Diamant 18 plough range for 2025.
It will be available with between five and eight furrows, mounted to a 180x180x12.5mm box section frame. Specifically designed for large tractors, it is suitable for machines up to 650hp.
According to the company due to increased weight, which improves penetration, but also an updated wheel position, it performs well on dry soils. The support wheel has been moved behind the base frame to make the best use of the additional weight. This also provides a lower centre of gravity, reducing the impact of rotational forces and placing less strain on the rear lift.
Despite the larger wheelbase, the company states that the plough still offers a high level of agility. The hydraulic steering of the transport wheel adapts to the turning manoeuvre, which combines with the 90 degree movement of the headstock. The transport wheel can also be actively controlled, or manually steered.
Full production will not commence until 2026 but small numbers will be available next year.
