Gammies Groundcare, based in Forfar Scotland, has become the latest Farmtrac dealer, praising the competitive pricing, comprehensive range and warranty as reasons to get behind the ‘exciting’ brand.
Les Gammie, Gammies Groundcare depot manager, explains: “The first thing that really drew me in was the retail price point, which I felt was very competitive. We’ve had some competition in this area with tractors, so we were looking for something to fill out our offering and compete, and Farmtrac fit the bill perfectly. The range, warranty and price made the decision for me and together made the perfect combination.”
Farmtrac’s truly innovative range includes the industry-first all-electric FT25G tractor. Charged from a domestic socket to 100 percent in eight hours and able to run for up to seven hours, productivity isn’t affected by the decision to go green. And its compact size, zero emissions and low noise levels make it a popular option for small farms, orchards, equestrian centres and more.
“The FT25G all-electric definitely stands out from the range,” says Les. “It’s totally unique, there’s nothing else like it on the market right now. I’m really eager to see how it does with our customers, but overall, it’s really exciting to be able to get stuck in with Farmtrac.
“We’ve only had Farmtrac in stock for a couple of weeks, but we’re already seeing interest in them. We’ve got a few quotes out there now and I can see the brand being a real pleasure to work with.”
Distributor, Reesink Agriculture, also played a part in the decision for Les. Having worked with Reesink before as a Toro service and grounds dealer, Gammies Groundcare knew the benefits of partnering with the renowned distributor.
“Reesink has great customer values, back-up and service support,” says Les. “And that was another element that contributed to the decision to become a Farmtrac dealer.”
Steven Haynes, tractor sales manager for Reesink, says: “We are very pleased to have Gammies on board as a Farmtrac dealer in Scotland. They have a great team in place and a broad customer base which they have been serving for many years, which makes them a good fit for us. We look forward to working with them going forward.”
With over 30 years of knowledge and experience supplying products and services to customers, and a reputation built on quality products and excellent service, Gammies Groundcare is confident that Farmtrac will fit in well with its ethos.
“I’ve no doubt that we will see interest in the brand going forward,” concludes Les. “As things get back to normal a bit more in 2021, we’re confident that Farmtrac will be at the forefront, really helping to kickstart business for the year. If anything, I just wish we’d had the brand earlier!”
