Shelbourne Reynolds will use Lamma to showcase its extended 7000 hedge trimmer range.
The 7065T telescopic offers a true 6.5m reach, according to the company the first to develop a heavy-duty trimmer with this reach.
“Trimmer reach can be misleading and frequently begs the question – does your trimmer really measure up? All of our 6000, 7000 and 8000 series trimmers feature fixed mounted heads and so the advertised reach is actually the true reach available to the operator,” says sales and marketing manager Neil Smith
“Machines with clamp mount heads typically advertise reach with the head fully offset which is not a practical operating position and so you immediately lose 0.5m reach when the head is set centrally. The 7065T has a true 6.5m reach when fully extended, and 5.4m reach retracted.”
The new model features a compact design, making it suitable for narrow lane work and comes with the standard specifications as the rest of the 7000 range. There is the option of an 85hp hydraulic system which can run at high pressures with a low flow to eliminate pressure drops.
