Giles Field-Rayner has joined Corteva Agriscience as national agricultural account manager.
He joins the crop protection and seed company from Bayer Crop Science where he gained experience in key account management, linking with large farming companies and independent advisors, more recently managing the national technical sales team.
Giles’s experience in agronomy and farm management will be put into action coordinating Corteva’s links with the Association of Independent Crop Consultants (AICC). He will also be part of the company’s farmer engagement strategy.
Giles said: “Corteva is a dynamic, innovative company with a really exciting product pipeline. It was this, alongside the high energy and passionate team, which attracted me to the business.
“With a large number of active ingredients potentially being lost in the coming years, Corteva is in an excellent position to bring new chemistry to the market and deliver new innovations to help in many different areas.
“The priority in my new role is to engage with all parts of industry, including distribution, farm businesses and the independent agronomy sector to increase collaborations and work successfully with our business partners during these challenging times.”
