Minister for Food Security and Rural Affairs Daniel Zeichner MP has been confirmed as speaking at the event on 13 November.
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) Minister of State, who was appointed to the first Labour Government for 14 years following the 2024 General Election, will address AIC Conference delegates during the “Political Priorities” section of the day’s discussions which are themed around “Capturing ‘Added Value’ within the agri-food supply chain”.
Other high-profile speakers include Henry Dimbleby, author of The National Food Strategy, and Tom Bradshaw, President of the National Farmers Union (NFU).
Both the AIC Conference and Dinner hosted the evening before will be held at the Holiday Inn West in Peterborough.
