Opico has promoted Angus Steven to a new role as after-sales director, focussing on customer care and making sure that all purchasers of OPICO’s expanding and extensive range of brands experience the follow-up, technical support and high quality service that they demand and deserve.
Angus has over 23 years of experience working for OPICO, starting in the technical support department. He has taken a pro-active approach to his role, using his wealth of experience to contribute to the direction of the company, whilst making a significant input to product development and parts sales.
“Angus has a very calm, collected and methodical way of working through issues and I am delighted that he has taken on more responsibility for looking after our customers,” said James Woolway, Opico managing director. “He is hugely respected by our suppliers for his contribution to product development, as well as being highly regarded by our dealer network.”
Commenting, Angus Steven said: “Customers can’t afford for machines to be out of action and we must ensure if break-downs occur they can be rapidly resolved to keep machines in operation. OPICO is committed to working with its suppliers and customers to develop robust and efficient machines for the UK, whilst providing the back-up and support vital to any farming business.”
Angus will be responsible for customer support across the extensive range of OPICO brands, including SKY, HE-VA, Maschio, Gaspardo and Strautmann.
