A desire to achieve more for customers and provide the best in service has enabled Agrovista to make a real difference this year through its sprayer care provision.
Keen to offer more than simply a purchase, the specialist team, which operates from depots at Kelso and Dundee, has gone the extra mile to become a ‘one stop shop’.
Whether it’s a buying a sprayer or replacement parts, booking a call out, or signing up to a service plan, it’s a 360 approach that is helping customers to take sprayer performance to the next level.
Regional sales manager for the north, Jonathan Cahalin said: “Machinery is an important part of Agrovista’s history in Scotland, and although we had a long-standing reputation for excellence, we knew we could do more.
“So this year we’ve opened a new workshop at our Dundee depot which includes a manned parts counter. We’ve improved our range of available parts and overall stock management system, shipping to customers across the country.
“We’ve also welcomed new colleagues on board who offer a wealth of experience, further supporting our qualified sales and service engineers.
“We view sprayer care seriously, which is why we take pride in considering the whole life-cycle of the machine, from purchase through to potential re-sale and everything in between.”
Customer Southesk Farms in Angus has worked with Agrovista for more than 10 years, having purchased four sprayers, a variety of replacement parts and also service plans.
The relationship is currently overseen by sprayer technician Wayne Donald, with agronomic expertise provided by Agrovista agronomist, Ben Lowe.
Farm manager for Southesk Farms, Neil MacLeod said: “The support we’ve received from Wayne during the past few months has been excellent, particularly for our new Chafer sprayer.
“As with all new machines, there will be teething problems. But Wayne has backed us up completely and worked through any issues as they’ve arisen. In fact, he’s made a huge difference to the performance of the sprayer.
“I believe this is due to the excellent relationships that Agrovista has with manufacturers, as well as their superior approach to customer service.”
